The committee exists to provide administrative and social support to the swimmers through the efforts of the sub-committee that are deemed to be required from time to time.  Administration consists of welcoming new members, processing competition entries, reporting results, sourcing of club attire, co-ordinating and operation of monthly time trials, registration of swimmers with Swimming Victoria, collection of monies for membership and competition entries, representing the club at District North and Swimming Victoria meetings when required, and general club operation such as equipment purchase or funding of swimmers and coaches who attend National and International level competition.

Appointment of Coaching Staff

All matters pertaining to aquatic tuition are under the direct control of the Head Coach, Joanne Love. This also applies to the appointment of all coaching staff for the various squad levels. This arrangement leaves the parent members free to concentrate on their own areas of expertise in supporting all our swimmers.

All positions are declared vacant at the AGM and committee members are appointed at the start of the membership year.  To be eligible to nominate for any positions on the committee, you must be 18 years or over and have been a financial member of the club for at least twelve months.  All committee members must be registered with Swimming Victoria.  Existing committee members can also re-nominate for their positions if they so desire.

The committee usually meets about once a month during the swimming year but this can alter if circumstances require extra meetings (e.g. organizing major fund raising events or club championships).
