2007 Australian Age Championships

Congratulations to the four members of our Age Nationals Team. Their trip to Perth was by far the most successful Age Nationals Neons has enjoyed to date. Notable results included;

• Matt Sterrenberg Gold Boys 13yrs 200m Butterfly
• Xavier Agostino Silver Boys 14yrs 5km Open Water
• Michael Forno Bronze Boys 14yrs 400m Freestyle

In addition to our fantastic medal tally, Tom Newton also qualified for three finals and all four boys also competed in the final of the 14yrs/U 4x 50m Medley Relay.  These are fantastic results from our swimmers and Joanne has already expressed her anticipation of next year’s meet in Brisbane where she hopes to take more than 10 swimmers to compete.  Well done boys!
