Congratulations to Sarah Tanner, who competed in finals of the Female 11yrs and under 100m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke and 200m Freestyle and was able to still achieve PBs on the final day of competition after such a heavy schedule. Well done Sarah.
A final mention also goes to our 12/U girls Freestyle Relay team of Jess McCarthy, Claire Molony, Sarah Tanner and Pearl Lynn Yap who swam brilliantly in the final to finish in 8th place. We are certainly looking forward to hearing of the successes of our younger swimmers in years to come.
Thank you to Annabel Newton who was able to act as photographer for us (see photos in the photo gallery - register first) - Annabel injured her neck and was unable to compete but still supported the club in the best way that she could. Well done Annabel.
Our coaches would also like to take this opportunity to wish those swimmers competing in the 13-18yrs events this week the best of luck. If the successes of your younger team mates are anything to go by, the 2007 Championships will undoubtedly be the most successful states outing our club has experienced yet! Good luck!
