Special mention goes to Nick (Burt) O'Connor who performed outstandingly in the 200m Backstroke, and in addition to winning the event, qualified for next year's Australian Age Championships by a staggering 4 seconds. Burt's winning time of 2:14.84 also puts him less than a second outside qualifying for Open Nationals, which are set to double as the Olympic trials. Well done Burt.
