If you haven't already purchases tickets for the FINA World Championships you had better get in quick. The level of swimming will be a lot higher than that of the Commonwealth Games and a great opportunity to see the world's best swimmers perform in our own backyard. Set to be included in the line-up is superstar American Michael Phelps, who has warmed up for the meet in Melbourne next month by breaking his own world record in the 200m Butterfly in Missouri on Saturday. Phelps clocked the lightning time of 1:53.71 to break his old world mark of 1:53.80 and in doing so won the Grand Prix race in Columbia by six seconds. "I didn't expect that, that's for sure," he told reporters after the race. "Coming in tonight, I wanted to go 1:55, 1:54 at the fastest. Right now, I guess things are going well." Phelps is set to line up in 17 events at the World Championships.
