Report after Day 1 of States:

Wow, what a great Sunday at the first day of the Victorian State Championships. From our newest Swimmers Remy Schneider and Joshua Salinger through to our more experienced swimmers Matt Sterrenberg, Michael Forno and Tom Newton we had some exciting swims and an outstanding amount of PB's.

Congratulations to our newest State Record Holder Matt Sterrenberg who created a new boys 14 years 200 Fly time of 2.06.86.

Special mention must go to Tom Newton who finished a clear 2nd in his 50m Free but was disqualified for breaking at the start. This is a lesson that all swimmers should take heed of.
