VSSSA Team Captain goes to Neons swimmer

Congratulations to Kayne Johns who has been made Captain of the Victorian Secondary Schools swim team to compete in Canberra at the Pacific School Games in December. Not everyone may be aware, but Kayne has just finished Year 12 while maintaining his 9 session a week training regime. Kayne resides in Bendigo and has travelled to Melbourne each Friday afternoon to train with HPS every Friday night and Saturday am. Which just goes to prove that swimming and study can be maintained at the highest level if it is well organised. Kayne followed the example set by Dr Julianne Bayliss who also maintained her training (8 sessions per week) and excelled at school.
